Uluru, Kata Tjuta and ripped shorts

On 18/02 I did a one day tour, visiting Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and Uluru (Ayers Rock). A very touristy trip, but a must when visiting Australia. This nature’s eccentricities are not only beautiful; they are also part of Aboriginal life and culture.

I can’t really and won’t retell everything I learned. But I did enjoy it very much. The Uluru and West Mac tours where done by Emu Run Tours. I can recommend them to everyone coming to The Alice.

Ripped shorts

It started with two small holes just around the pocket. But now I have two big holes on my bum. It’s beyond decent mending. Bummer, I’d say. I’ll have to shop for new shorts. These are ripped. And I got fond of them. Yés, me, the one who never wears shorts….

Don’t worry, you won’t see me in denim at the office any time soon. My conversion doesn’t go that far…
